Throughout my professional life, I have been dedicated to working with and for artists. The interplay of artistic vision and its implementation characterizes my professional career.
After studying art history at the Kunsthochschule Kassel and economics at the University of Kassel, I gained extensive experience in art education, administration, and the art trade in Berlin, Kassel, and New York until 2012. My subsequent 12-year tenure as director of Studio Katharina Grosse marked the high point of this development to date. During this time, I managed artistic projects and strategic business planning, led multidisciplinary teams, and, among other things, laid the groundwork for her catalogue raisonné.
Notably, I played a pivotal role in founding and developing the Wunderblock Foundation, a non-profit organization established between 2018 and 2020. I oversaw the foundation’s legal and structural framework and led its initial operations as deputy chairwoman for a further three years.
Während meines gesamten Berufslebens habe ich mich der Arbeit mit und für Kunstschaffende verschrieben. Die Verbindung von künstlerischer Vision und deren Umsetzung prägt meinen beruflichen Werdegang.
Nach meinem Studium der Kunstgeschichte an der Kunsthochschule Kassel und der Wirtschaftswissenschaften an der Universität Kassel sammelte ich bis 2012 umfangreiche Erfahrungen in Kunstvermittlung, Verwaltung und Kunsthandel in Berlin, Kassel und New York. Die anschließende 12-jährige Leitung des Studio Katharina Grosse markierte den bisherigen Höhepunkt dieser Entwicklung. In dieser Zeit steuerte ich unter anderem künstlerische Projekte und die strategische Unternehmensplanung, leitete multidisziplinäre Teams und legte die Grundlagen für ihr Werkverzeichnis.
Eine zentrale Rolle spielte ich bei der Gründung und Entwicklung der Wunderblock Foundation, einer gemeinnützigen Stiftung, die zwischen 2018 und 2020 ins Leben gerufen wurde. Ich verantwortete den rechtlichen und strukturellen Rahmen der Stiftung und leitete ihre ersten Aktivitäten weitere drei Jahre als stellvertretende Vorsitzende.
