Gothenburg: Artwork 'Blink' public art project (2016–2024)

In 2016, Katharina Grosse won the artist competition commissioned by the Swedish Transport Administration for Olskroken’s infrastructure area with her proposal 'Blink'—a large-scale sculpture that transforms the city's skyline. A 14×11×10-meter boulder appears at the center of a fictional giant spotlight, casting pink light into the surroundings.

Collaborated with the Public Art Agency Sweden to manage the project, overseeing the preparation and submission of all required documents for a qualified competition proposal. Led the project from the competition phase to final production on behalf of the studio, handling contract negotiations and ensuring the work was realized in accordance with the artist’s vision.

Paris: ˋCanyon‘ for Fondation Louis Vuitton (2020–2022)

'Canyon'—a new work by Katharina Grosse, commissioned by the Fondation Louis Vuitton—consists of eight 5-millimeter-thick aluminum sheets, spray-painted with acrylic, measuring 15 meters and weighing 4 tons. The work references the architectural features of the ‘canyon’—the void visible inside the building from the ground up—drawing inspiration from Frank Gehry’s architecture.

Collaborated with Kunstgiesserei St. Gallen (Switzerland), T/E/S/S (France), and Arter (France), leading contract negotiations, overseeing project coordination on behalf of the studio, and managing budget planning. Facilitated seamless communication among international teams in St. Gallen, Berlin, and Paris.

Berlin: Exhibition ‘It Wasn’t Us at Hamburger Bahnhof (2019–2021)

For the exhibition Katharina Grosse: It Wasn’t Us, the artist transformed the Historic Hall of the Hamburger Bahnhof—Museum für Gegenwart, along with the outdoor area behind the building, into an expansive painting that radically disrupts the established order of the museum space.

Managed the project in collaboration with Freunde der Nationalgalerie, overseeing budget planning and financial control. Supervised the production process from the artist’s draft to styrofoam cutting, model development (scales 1:100 to 1:10), and outsourcing to the producer Accentform in Hanover. Oversaw the painterly intervention in the historic entrance hall and surrounding outdoor spaces, including the façade of the Rieck-Hallen.
